Join us for the ceremony on the grass lawn at Bali Hai. Enjoy ukulele music during cocktail hour. Then, dine under the covered patio, with a buffet of Bali Hai’s finest food and enjoy some tiki drinks. After dinner, celebrate with cake, and dancing. No kids please.

Located on the northern tip of Shelter Island, is a chic Polynesian paradise that first opened its doors in 1954. Tom Ham, a San Diego restaurateur, saved the island’s first “tiki temple,” which remains one of the largest original tiki temples in the world.
Parking: There are two free paved parking lots next to the restaurant. There is also a temporary drop-off area at the entrance to Bali Hai.

The ceremony begins at 5:00 PM. We recommend arriving 15–20 minutes early so you have plenty of time to park and get settled.

Yes! Everything will take place at Bali Hai, with the ceremony and celebration just steps apart. The ceremony will be outdoors on a grass lawn, and the reception will be on concrete, under a covered patio outdoors. In the event of heavy rain, the ceremony and reception will be indoors.
